I love how Verve made albums centered around the great American composers. The core of my music collection is ALL of the ELLA SINGS the [composer] songbook
Ultra musicality.
Learning thus tune now. Much respect ❤
Eric Dolphy's abstract phrasing is like sonic cubism (Picaso's abstract painting style). Amazing!
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Sizi dinlemek için buradayız!👍🏻🎷🎺🎶🍀

jfc so bookmarked
I was in high school when I first listened to this on an LP I took out of the public library. I'm 71 now and still love to listen to it, especially the other (piano solo) version of Lotus Blossom .It's hard to say it's my favorite Ellington recording because that's usually whichever one I am currently listening to or the last one I had listened to.
Love the talking over the music. Rral neat effect.
Прекрасно! Гений.
Musicians I really love: - Bill Evans - Chet Baker - Louis Armstrong - Pat Metheny / Lyle Mays - Bach
Class, elegance, deep, vibe, jazz... Bill Evans
this is great, thanks
Fucking height of music in the 20th century.
This always makes me emotional, especially now that I'm trying to survive here in Germany, feeling like a "drifter". I won't give up hope...
this was one of the first songs I ever heard, Audrey Hepburn is my favourite actress and breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favourite films
WOW!!!
Excelente disco
Bop rabbit holes never end.
